My Story
My Scentsy Story begins back on Christmas 2010. My sister bought my first warmer because I loved scented candles but I had just had my son, August, and she wanted to give me something safe for him to be around. I was addicted! I kept buying from my consultant and every time I bought she asked why I wasn't signing up! I was getting a ton free and half priced from all the friends that were buying from my parties. I thought it wasn't for me, I didn't want to be a pushy sales person!
Flash forward to 2012, I needed a second job as I was going through a divorce and was the primary caregiver for my child. I didn't want to spend time away from my son and couldn't because I couldn't afford a sitter. I remembered everything my consultant had told me about selling Scentsy and I was also running low on my own wax supply. I thought - why couldn't I do this? I sold it to my friends when I had parties....why couldn't I just make money from them hosting parties and I be their consultant? So I signed up and my life changed!
I made so many friends that were consultants and customers, I found out that I didn't have to be a pushy consultant because people came running to me when they heard I was a Scentsy consultant, and I made great extra money without having to be away from my son constantly.
Now it's 2023, I'm making so much more money I ever thought I could with Scentsy and my husband and I made the decision for me to stay home with our 16 and 12 year old sons and be a full time Scentsy consultant! I could not be happier and cannot believe the places this second job to make ends meet took me! I've traveled the world with Scentsy and that has become my passion. Seeing how others live their lives in other cultures and all the beauty out there!
